🎁 Brookhaven Town and JVC Broadcasting will host a live on-air Holiday Toy Drive at Town Hall on December 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., encouraging visitors to donate new, unwrapped toys for local children in need. A blood drive will also be held on-site as part of the day’s efforts to give back. Brookhaven Town
🚧 Mother’s Beach in Bellport will be closed starting December 10, 2025, until further notice as dredging operations begin at Howell’s Creek. The work is part of ongoing maintenance to improve water flow and safety. Bellport Village

Local Sports
🤸♀️ Patchogue-Medford High School gymnastics wrapped up a standout season with a fifth-place finish at the Suffolk County team championship, and six gymnasts advanced to the individual county competition. Coach Kimberly Marshall was also honored as Suffolk County’s League 1 Coach of the Year. Patchogue-Medford School District
