With Monday dawning we start a new work week. The big story in the country is President Biden stepping aside for reelection. I’m sure this will be covered in every publication so I won’t delve into that story. We will stick to our local community.

Join the Bayport-Blue Point Chamber for Lunch and Insights on July 31st

The Bayport-Blue Point Chamber of Commerce is hosting its monthly General Membership Meeting on Wednesday, July 31st, at noon at Momo's Too in Bayport. This lunchtime gathering is an excellent opportunity for local business owners and community members to connect, network, and stay informed about important local issues.

This month's meeting will feature County Legislator Anthony Picirillo as the guest speaker. Picirillo will discuss Suffolk County's proposed sales tax increase, aimed at funding essential sewer and septic projects. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions and gain valuable insights into how this proposal could impact the community.

In addition to the informative session, attendees can enjoy delicious lunch specials from Rich at Momo's. Options include a Beef, Turkey, or Chicken Burger paired with a choice of wine, beer, or soda for just $9.99.

Celebrate with the BBP Chamber at Century 21 KR Realty's Ribbon Cutting on July 23rd

The Bayport-Blue Point Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome its newest member, Century 21 KR Realty, with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 23rd at 1:00pm. Formerly known as Century 21 Bay's Edge Realty, Inc., the office is located at 100 S. Main Street in Sayville, right next to Butera's.
