The Business Improvement District reported a highly successful launch of their farmers market with exceptional vendors, solar panel coverage for weather protection, and strong community attendance.
Downtown Revitalization Grant Update
Patchogue is seeking up to $100K in Suffolk County downtown revitalization funds for Waverly Avenue improvements. Early reviews of the application are promising.
Ball Field Hours: Confirmed softball leagues will use the new turf field until 11:00 PM (Mondays) and the older Shorefront field until 11:00 PM (Tuesdays), citing league scheduling needs and standard practices in neighboring communities. Neighbor feedback will be monitored.
Technology Upgrades: The village officially transitioned to a .gov domain for internet and email services, enhancing security and official government status.
Upcoming Events: Approved special events including Arts Council's Arts Ontario (September 14th) and Mocha Lights downtown festival (October 23-29), plus Betterman Distilling's night bazaar events.

A resident (Jarrett Saul) raised significant concerns about the unsightly and inconsistent placement of electrical boxes/poles for the sewer project on Pine Boulevard, citing safety, aesthetics, property value impact, and lack of pre-construction homeowner consultation as promised. Bayport Aerodrome Society Daisy’s Nashville Lounge is hosting Honky Tonkin Thursdays in Patchogue with a chance to win a trip to Nashville for TWO! Daisy’s Nashville Lounge CEED is hosting its annual Summer Solstice Festival on June 21, celebrating Indigenous Peoples and native wildlife with music, dancers, storytellers, and eco-friendly vendors. CEED invites families to enjoy a free, nature-filled day in Brookhaven. Patchogue's Summer Block Party, hosted by 89 North Music Venue on July 12, will bring back nostalgic vibes with live bands, vibrant vendors, and plenty of community fun. Listen Up Long Island invites everyone to don their best Hawaiian shirts and join the festivities. Harmony Cafe is hosting the Growing in Harmony Social Event on June 20, celebrating National Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Month with a vegetarian lunch, live food demo, and gardening tips at St. James Episcopal Church in Brookhaven. [Harmony Cafe Nonprofit Organization] PAC-MOCA is hosting its 2025 Skateboarding Festival in Patchogue on June 29, blending skateboarding, live music, art, and a special film screening with pro skater Chad Caruso. Harmony Cafe is offering a free container gardening class on June 16 at the Patchogue-Medford Library, where participants will learn how to grow their own food in small spaces—plant and soil provided, just bring a container. [Patchogue-Medford Library] The Kiwanis Club of Patchogue is hosting its first-ever Bayfest BBQ on June 14 at Fireman’s Park, featuring food, drinks, games, live music, and a $25,000 sweepstakes raffle—each $100 ticket includes entry and a chance to win. [Kiwanis Club of Patchogue] The Patchogue Arts Council is now accepting submissions for its Annual Juried Members Exhibition, Patchworks 2025, running from July 26 to September 7, with a reception on opening day.
