🎬 New at the Plaza Cinema & Media Arts Center: "Wicked Little Letters" Starting This Friday! 🍿🎥
Get ready for a blend of farce and mystery with the new comedy, "Wicked Little Letters," screening at the Plaza Cinema & Media Arts Center from April 26th to May 9th. This film takes you back to a 1920s English seaside town embroiled in a hilarious yet sinister scandal.
"Wicked Little Letters" revolves around two neighbors: the conservative Edith Swan and the boisterous Irish migrant Rose Gooding. The town is shocked as residents, including Edith, begin receiving obscene letters. Rose is quickly accused of being the culprit, leading to a trial filled with uproar and comedic twists. As the investigation unfolds, led by Police Officer Gladys Moss (Anjana Vasan), doubts arise about Rose's guilt, unraveling a deeper mystery.
Critics praise the performances of Colman and Buckley, noting the film's perfect mix of humor and complexity. Make sure not to miss this riotously entertaining piece based on a true story!
