🚨 An 82-year-old bicyclist from Westhampton Beach was seriously injured after being hit by a car driven by a 47-year-old Bellport man on Dune Road in Quogue early Monday. The driver stayed at the scene, and no charges have been filed as the investigation continues. Patch
🍗 After outgrowing their Medford location, Tiffany and Darrell Darwood are bringing a 2nd location of Lola’s Southern Cuisine to Patchogue, opening June 7 in the former Rise & Grind space on Main Street. The new spot seats over 100 and expands the menu to include Southern-style breakfast favorites.
🛒 Aldi is set to open its newest Long Island location in Medford on June 12, taking over the former Michaels space at 2799 Route 112. The 20,000-square-foot store will be the chain’s 15th on the island. Long Island Business News
