🎓 Long Island school leaders emphasized kindness, equity, and student-focused leadership at SCOPE Education Services’ 40th Annual Dinner in Oakdale. Bayport-Blue Point Superintendent Timothy Hearney joined fellow SCOPE board members in welcoming new superintendents and trustees while urging districts to make meaningful moments for students. 🌍 Patchogue-based Environmental Assessment & Remediations (EAR) has been acquired by LaBella Associates, expanding the international firm’s environmental services footprint across New York. 🏫 Southampton High School has appointed Derek Robinson, formerly an assistant principal at Patchogue-Medford High School, as its new principal. 🛡️ NYS Senator Dean Murray and Assemblyman Jarett Gandolfo are hosting a Citizen Emergency Preparedness Training Course on October 9 at the Bayport-Blue Point Public Library.
