🥍 Bayport-Blue Point stormed to an early lead and held off a late Sayville rally to win the Suffolk Class C girls lacrosse championship, 9-7, reclaiming the title they lost last season. With standout performances from Ava Meyn and Aubrie Eisfeld, the Phantoms now set their sights on the Long Island championship. Newsday

⚾ From the Bayport view, the Phantoms’ near-perfect season came to a tough end as Sayville stunned them with a four-run second inning en route to an 8-1 win in the Suffolk Class A final. Despite going 20-0 in the regular season, Bayport-Blue Point couldn’t overcome Sayville’s clutch hitting and settled for a third straight runner-up finish.

🥍 Boys lacrosse: Bayport-Blue Point entered halftime tied 5-5 in the Suffolk Class C final but couldn’t hold off Kings Park’s dominant second half, falling 13-6. Connor Curran, Dylan Craig, and Jamison Hawkins each scored twice, and Andrew Snyder made 14 saves, but the Phantoms' run as defending state champions came to a close.

🥇 Bellport High School’s boys sprint medley relay team clinched first place at the prestigious Glenn D. Loucks Games with a time of 3:31.94, earning them a spot at nationals. The team now ranks second-fastest in the state and eighth-fastest in event history. Patch
