🎆 Patchogue’s annual 4th of July Parade kicks off at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 4, marching down Main Street from West Ave to Rider Ave. Expect festive floats, marching bands, and plenty of patriotic spirit!

🎨 Bellport Village is buzzing this July 4th with art, antiques, and local flair — including the beloved "Artists on the Lane" and antiques fairs at Mary Immaculate Church and the Historical Society.   • 🍻 Blue Point Brewing Co. is turning up the heat this weekend with live music, to-go beer specials, and the much-anticipated return of the Boardy Barn on July 6. Expect $3 beers, $4 hot dogs, and all the singalongs — but note: it's 21+ and there’s a cover at the door.

  • Mountain Music will perform a country set as part of the Bellport Summer Bandshell Concert Series on Friday, July 4 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. In case of rain, concerts may be postponed or canceled.

  • The Patchogue-Medford Library is hosting its annual “Touch-A-Truck” event on Saturday, July 28 from 10am to 12pm at Patchogue-Medford High School, where kids can explore real emergency and service vehicles and meet community helpers. [Patchogue-Medford Library]

  • The New York State Senate has launched the 2025 Summer Reading Program, themed “Color our World: Colorea Nuestro Mundo,” encouraging kids to read for fun and discovery all summer long.   • The IRIEspect: Summer Block Party presented by Listen Up LI! Music & Arts Festival is happening at 89 North Music Venue in Patchogue on Saturday, July 12 from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, featuring live painting, local bands, vendors, and that classic Long Island summer vibe.
