🚔 Riverhead police arrested three individuals — Nicole Clifford of Bellport, and Troy Goode and Steven Stubbs of Riverhead — on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle between March 30 and April 5. Riverhead News-Review

🔥 A brush fire that broke out in a Medford backyard on Thursday spread to a neighboring yard before being extinguished by the Medford Fire Department. No injuries were reported, and officials found nothing suspicious about the cause. Patch

• The Village of Patchogue is hosting its 25th Annual Bunny Run on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Father Tortora Park. This free outdoor event features egg hunts, raffles, a jelly bean count, and photos with the Easter Bunny. Children aged 4–6 can participate at 12:00 PM, while those aged 7–9 can join at 12:30 PM. The first 50 kids in each age group will receive a special goodie bag. Don't forget to bring your egg basket!

• The Bayport Blue Point Heritage Association is hosting Murder at Meadow Croft, a live-action CLUE-inspired mystery night on May 17, 2025, where guests can explore the historic estate to solve a whodunit. 🩹 Yankees starter Marcus Stroman was placed on the 15-day injured list with left knee inflammation after a rough outing against the Giants, where he gave up five runs in less than an inning. Stroman, who’s struggled early this season, is undergoing tests as the team hopes the injury explains his recent struggles. Yahoo
