Summer came in blazing, but some relief is on the way. With cooler temps expected just in time for Thursday’s Alive After Five, it’s the perfect chance to get outside and enjoy live music, good food, and that great Patchogue energy.

🚨 A Patchogue man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly leaving his 2-year-old son alone in a parked car during 100-degree heat. Police say the child was unattended for about 20 minutes outside the Centereach Mall Walmart before first responders intervened; the boy was treated at Stony Brook University Hospital. News 12

ALIVE AFTER FIVE® Festival Returns for Its 23rd Summer

The heart of Patchogue will pulse with energy and community spirit as the ALIVE AFTER FIVE® festival makes its long-awaited return this summer. Hosted by the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, the street festival begins Thursday, June 26, from 5 to 9 p.m., with a "Downtown Nashville" theme setting the tone for an evening of country music and local charm. The festival continues on July 10, July 31, and August 14, with a rain date set for August 21.

Drawing up to 30,000 attendees each evening and welcoming nearly 100,000 visitors over the course of the summer, ALIVE AFTER FIVE® has become a cornerstone of the local cultural calendar. The event features over 120 vendors, offering everything from artisan goods to community resources, along with outdoor dining experiences from downtown’s many eateries. Live music stages spotlight local talent while a designated children's area provides family-friendly fun with face painting and crafts.
