The country mobilized for election day yesterday. In an interesting twist, it marked the first time since Edison Research began conducting exit polls in 2004 that independent voters made up a larger share of total turnout than one of the two main U.S. political parties. This was noted in Reuters story.
Maybe we are becoming less partisan? Not likely, but it was a shift in how people view themselves.
AP just announced Trump as the winner, let’s see how the country handles the news.
